Decisions about your street should be made by your street.
I love Sully District and Northern Virginia. After graduating with degrees in Economics and MBA specializing in finance, I moved to Fairfax County in 1989 and spent most of my life working and raising a family in Sully District. My three children graduated from the FCPS system.
Following a career as a Federal Government National Security Executive planning, budgeting and directing complex global programs I worked as a contractor and small business owner for over decade in Sully, commuting along Rte 50 and Rte 28.
In my large family (nine children) I grew up around law enforcement officers, healthcare providers, veterans, active duty officers and educators who exemplified selfless public service and integrity.
I’ve lived in totalitarian countries torn apart by civil war. I know what government “for the people” looks like and what government “for the few” looks like. The current U.S. administration is government for the one. Given the corrupt chaos at the federal level, it is critical for our families and our future that Fairfax County Government be “for the people,” open, transparent, and trustworthy. I am running to make sure it is.
